Laura L. Fitzpatrick, M.D., MPH completed her Bachelor of Science at Duke University, and completed both Doctor of Medicine and Master’s in Public Health degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She returned to Duke University Medical Center, where she completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology. She holds board certifications in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine from ABIM. Dr. Fitzpatrick has been practicing medicine since 2002 and endocrinology since 2005, having been in group endocrinology practice for the past 8 years. She holds Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasonography (ECNU), a professional certification in neck ultrasound provided by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and recognized by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

Dr. Fitzpatrick received the Top Doctors TM award from 2018-2022 in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from Philadelphia magazine.

Kimberly Goldmacher, CRNP, CDE. Kimberly is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of medical experience, and has advanced expertise in diabetes management and education. Kimberly received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Endicott College and Master’s in Nursing at Northeastern University. She completed a Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Kimberly has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including primary care, emergency care and skilled nursing and subacute care. For the past 5 years, she has worked locally as an advisory board member for diabetes self-management training, outpatient diabetes center, and diabetes prevention program. She is a certified diabetic educator, in addition to her many other impressive credentials.
